public place you have 3 years from the date of the accident to make your
claim. If the injured person is a minor (under 18 years of age), the minor
has 3 years from their 18th birthday to make a claim. If you suffer from an industrial illness (e.g. leukaemia caused by exposure to asbestos in the workplace), you have 3 years from the date of the cause of action or the date of knowledge, whichever is the later. If you are a victim of criminal injury, the incident must have been in GB (England, Scotland & Wales). Please note that the above information is meant as a guide only - it is very important to contact us to start your claim STRAIGHT AWAY. If you have any doubts about your entitlement to make a claim or need further information, contact us IMMEDIATELY. |
